Guest rodsmith
i know an "old school type" man,in his 70's.for the rabbit nets he uses the twine butchers use to wrap meat.id use it on my fox nets but dont think it would be strong enough for a few seasons.?? a friend has a material,to the touch it feels like what moleskin feels, very oily.i can get hold of one nets if only to show to someone to advise me of the material.hes had the nets for 5 yrs, works the terriers every wk and said he doesnt hang them after yet they look brand new. Been using butchers twine for my purse nets, great stuff if it's the same as your thinking of. Left a section of net out on top of ferrets cage through a whole year, summer and winter. Other than going green it is still just as strong, and all the nots held perfectly. Keep them dry and should last forever. Quote Link to post
