I have to disagree with some of your ways of thinking about bigger dogs working fox ,if you work these bigger dogs enough times in a lot of places a few times the dog will not reach its quarry and that has nothing to do with the dogs will to get there but purely a physical thing .

All this about if a dog wants to get there he will is untrue in my opininion ,some dogs are just to big for some places no matter how good the dog in question is .

COUNTRYBOYO YOU CRACK ME UP BULL RUSSEL MORE LIKE GRANNY RUSSEL

Correct i work a russell that's unspanable' Very big and very game but in those smaller earth's sometime's he's head has just been stuck in a chamber were hes trying to push on and has taken a hiding of smaller foxes.

if you were to look back 30 years ago before badger digging was made illegal, surely there were no spannable badgers, so they must have needed a bigger stamp of dog, only thinking back in hindsight and all that!!

Yes 4 badgers over 36 years ago' But 4 fox the big terrier's just get stuck. ;)

YEAH STUCK IN PWAAA :gunsmilie:
