Little Butch 16
Your saying '£300 for a cross breed', what makes a Cross worth less than a Pedigree? It's only paper and a name! Butch

But on the other hand the kids are playing up i will have Tree please good luck with the sale I know both these dogs and they are sound and steady and £300 for a large dog is not bad, squirt money as well, can't be bad. Any way if you would like have "tree" then I have about 20,000 in small pots all different native species pm me if you like .

It's only paper and a name!Butch this is a good comment if you look at it like that but if you look at it the way that pedigree paper shows you all the gens that is in the dog and also it has been none for cross breeds of this typ american bulldog, rotty, pit bulls ect bred in this way to be a lot more agressive and unpredictive thanks new L Edited July 16, 2009 by new lurcher
Guest sph1979
im not saying these dogs are nasty, far from it. Im sure they are gentle with the kids. All im saying is you dont no what the pups will turn out like so there is no guarantee that they will be sound with kids. LIKE any other pups for sale no body no's socialising with kida is different. A mate ahad a pbt x gh 1st x from eight weeks old, had him for twelve months and one day just turned on the kids. Becarful what to put in adds as i said earlier atvb with the sale Edited July 16, 2009 by sph1979

smokin 0
slagging cross breeds - the very nature of a 'lurcher' is to be a cross breed - better to be cross bred than a fully 'in bred show ped' with all their faults - i say a price is fair if a dog does what it says on the tin... atb chris
cappie49 0
I think its a fair price for the pups, will be impressive dogs when up regardless of if they classed as crossbred or mongrel. We have all ways veiwed it as a crossbred is between too of the same type such as staff x english or border x patterdale. And a mongrel is a cross between too of different types such as greyhound x collie. I think its makes them stronger anyway, never had a pure pedigree. My terrier is 15 in november and was 5 when I moved in this house.I got him for free from my stepdad and is 2/3 patterdale 1/3 border.Next door had just bought a poodle pup when we moved in and it has since been put down because of health problems due to old age, now they have bought a labradoodle .My terrier still going strong, prob out live that hairy monstrosty next door aswell Hope they find good homes and would like to see a pic
Guest sph1979
Its like this, if you are a responsable owner (which im sure you are) Try not to sell to the younger genaration. there are lads hanging about on street corners now waiting for a new breed to bring up badly. Its a pitty the thugs of today give honset people who breed litters a bad name its the way they bring them up. Good luck woth the sale
jac 12
what's the hip score on dam and sire? and have they been health cheeked to see that they don't carry any hereditary problems like VWD
Wxm 1,638
whats a lurcher? im sure thats classed as a mungrel with 75% or more not even knowing what its made up from. most lurcher get called what they look like, cause they aint gt a clue what the breedin is. its worth payin 300+ if u have a good few lurchers or terriers in case they go walkies.
