BLADENO1LURCHER 0 Posted July 15, 2009 Report Share Posted July 15, 2009 HELLO RECENTLY GOT A PUP 8 WEEKS OLD HAVE PUT HIM IN A LITTLE CAGE WELL BIG FOR HIM,,HE SLEEPS FRA SHORT WHILE THEN WAKES UP AND GOES CRAZY BITING TH CAGE AND JUST HOWLING REALLY LOUD,,,WILL THIS GET BETTER IN THE NEAR FUTURE OR DO YOU THINK ITS GONNA JUST KEEP GETTING WORSE???? AND IS THERE ANY TIPS WT I CAN DO ITS GOT MY HEAD DONE IN Quote Link to post

mick81 275 Posted July 15, 2009 Report Share Posted July 15, 2009 IT,S JUST ONE OF THEM THING,S THEY ALL DO IT , I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM MY SELF 2 DAY,S AFTER XMAS GOT THE PUP HOME PUT IT IN IT,S CAGE AND MADE A NOISE LIKE A FECKING WILD ANIMAL ,SCREEMING WHILST LOCKED ON TO THE BARS ,THE WIFE WAS NOT IMPRESSD SO IT WAS 3 NIGHTS ON THE COUCH UNTIL IT GOT IT,S JAB,S STRAIT OUT THE BACK GARDEN WITH THE LURCHER BITCH ,NEVER MADE A NOISE LITTLE B@STARD. Guest STORM CHASER Posted July 15, 2009 Report Share Posted July 15, 2009 The trick with crate training is to start off with short amounts of time spent in there, and build it up slowly.....Only letting it out when it's quiet...so it learns that quiet means, it's likely to be let out, only when quiet.....but it's not easy it take time and patience.Good Luck.....
