adamthomas64 1
hi guys, just thought id put up this post as ive finally got myself some permission, 175 acres for pegion shootig and a nice small 25 acres for whatever i want ( that can humanely kill with an air rifle ) and the same farmer that owns the 25 acres said in the winter i can shoot on his main farm rabbits, crows, pegions ect and his land has already been approved for a .22lr rimfire, so looks like i will finally be able toget my FAC, he dont want me shooting there at the minuite because of the horses in the fields, not a lot i know but its a start and as someone told me before on this site one permission leads to more, Happy shooting Adam Edited July 15, 2009 by adamthomas64 Quote Link to post

langouroux 14
cheers langeroux is that the rifle to go for then i personally ( and a lot of other members) really rate this rifle, its a work horse, here is my set up: cz 452 .22LR "style" ( synthetic stock silver barrel) fitted with trigger kit from rimfire magic ( the kit only cost me £10!) SAK Mod Harris Bi-Pod (expensive but well worth every penny) RWS Subsonic Ammo AGS Illuminated 3-9 x 40 Scope got all my stuff from sportsman gun center in exeter. Quote Link to post
adamthomas64 1
how much if you dont mind me asking would a set up like yours cost mate Quote Link to post
langouroux 14
how much if you dont mind me asking would a set up like yours cost mate ok i have managed to dig out the original receipt from sportman gun centre, the price of the rifle will have gone up i'd imagine but here is what i got and what i spent, all of the kit was brand spanking new: cz 452 style .22LR £244.00 SAK Mod £37.00 scope rings £14.00 AGS Illuminated 3-9x40 scope £90.00 ( well cheap but a really good scope, i really like it.) Rifle Slip - FREE! and i think the BI-pod was about £.00 or within a fiver of that anyway. and as i say the trigger kit was £10.00 i think i got it all for a fair price as i also bought full realtree camo whilst i was there, so i spent a sh*t load! i bought all this stuff on 20/08/08 hope this helps mate. dave1372 83
Congratulations. It is always hard starting out and little over 2yrs ago I had no land and now I have permission for roughly over two thousand acres (plus my mate has permission for rabbiting on 12,000 acres!). My advice is once you get your rifle start saving for your gen2+ night vision scope next as it is money well spent and although expensive will do for years. Good luck. Quote Link to post
