Coneytrappr 30
I was out for a spot of pest control a few days back and at the last warren [30-40 holes] my albino hob killed under and was likely stuck behind the rabbit. Digging was impossible due to a lot of rock so after waiting for six hours it was nearly dark and there was nothing for it but to block him in for the night and go back in the morning. There was plenty of large rocks laying about so stopping them up securely was no problem. The next morning I went back and lo and behold he was waiting and very eager to be out. What's your protocol for dealing with a similar situation? Situations where they stay underground but can't be dug to? Do you block in the holes or do you prefer to leave the ferret box there for it to find? Quote Link to post

Coneytrappr 30
Ive never left one always waited no matter how long its took Yes it was a first for me and if it had been daylight I would have waited until he surfaced. But it was getting dark and there was no way I could have watched that particular warren at night. Quote Link to post
