Rabbithunter 456
use a "D" lock then mate Bungee them on then stick a D lock on, easier than fanny'ing on with clamps Ive carried a 28ft double, and a 20ft double (at the same time) with only one bungee on each, and reached 80mph Edited July 14, 2009 by Rabbithunter Quote Link to post
stubby 175
are you on about those extending ladders, that raise up out of inside each other, not got them myself, but seen other contractors with them, slightly heavy for my liking, and only went upto around 6ft, what I do have in the van, are a set of ladders that fold into four, cost around £99 and they are the dogs danglies, once opened fully gives you around 12ft, my missus painted most of the house using them Quote Link to post

goshawking719 492
i use them regular and they are good, surprisingly sturdy, abit pricey but i didnt pay for mine...lol. find them to be high enough for most day to day jobs and beats lugging the treble 13s on and of a roof rack all day. they are currently on offer at killgerm, think they are offering about £40 of the RRP. Trapperman I've just bought a telestep ladder from Killgerm they have an offer on at the moment telesteps are £150 normally around £200 and you get a free bag which they normally sell for about £30, (probably get them cheaper if you shop around)they reach about 3.3 metres which probably is't high enough to reach over house gutters etc but I wanted them for loft access etc. Andy Quote Link to post
