CHRONOGRAPH

Recommended Posts

just a thought

how do some of you guys fancy clubbing together to buy a CHRONO ??

so it is available to ( approved) members for checking their guns.

it would be held by the current user until it is required by someone else ( to minimise postage) and we could have, if SS allows it, to have it pinned so we know who is in possesion of it.

a cheap way to help each other out, and peace of mind to how your gun is performing.

what do you think????

good or bad...........and NO we arn't having a poll !!!!!

cheers

Alright boys (and any ladies involved in this thread) how about those who chip in for the chrono are alowed to use it and we could set up a pole between ourselves on who we'd want to run the whole shabang (but no self votes) and this is repeated each year or two to upgrade the chrono.. what does everyone think ?

well postage to be honest aint gonna be too much of a hassle as all in the syndicate would have each others thl's screen name/ mobile number and it's a case of the last person posts it on plus a post would be added to the forum to indicate who currently has the chrono at that moment in time. is this any help ?

just to add........ i don't mind taking this on if nobody objects?????

or if you would prefer.....i'll buy one to hire out ?????

minimal charge with a deposit ??

cheers

just to throw my two cents in here.....

I'm sure loads of guys on here have chrono's already plus they will be competent in its use. Would it be worth having a list of "Chrono Owners" for other members to arrange to visit/test/meet up?

I'd be happier having someone more experienced stick a chrono on my gun and tell me what I need to know rather than doing it myself and possibly get a false reading?

It's an okay idea but I think doing the same sort of idea except within your local, say, three clubs - no postage and would be able to trust others more whilst people still able to chip in (or the clubs themselves could pay a % of the price to allow all their members to use it).

the crombo's are simple to use............as they say it aint rocket science !!!!

if it is zeroed before or after use you cant get a false reading.

I for one think this is a better idea than someone or indeed a group buying one to post around.

I have a basic chrono that I’ll happily test any one’s gun on.

So in short I feel a register of owners is a good idea.

I'd back that 100% :)
