John-B 4
Recently bought a Theoben Fenman, now I know the last owner had a bit of a tamper with it, he says it is now at "about 10-10.5 ft/lbs" now i'm unsure, does anyone have a chrono so they can test it for me? also does anyone have a bore sighter as the scope is allover the place? I don't want to take them away I could meet up somewhere and you can check for me, also if the gun is over the limit how would I turn it down??? Quote Link to post

SEAN3513 7
DONT TAMPER WITH IT until you have a chrono i understand what you are saying john....you can buy a chrono for around £35 quid new.......and a seccond hand one will be cheaper. hopefully someone near you will be able to help........try posting in the rimfire section aswell as the lads in there use them aswell. cheers sean Quote Link to post

SEAN3513 7
sorry john...wasn't saying you would tamper.........didnt come across as i meant it....lol uttings.com crombo chrono £39.99.....well worth it and as you say you can try lots of different pellets. they fit on the muzzle of you gun............so you can only test at that point. for a lot more money you can get a skan pro....which will allow you test at different yardage. good luck sean Quote Link to post

SEAN3513 7
just be carefull john if you go to a gun shop. if it is over the limit as an RFD they are duty bound to confiscate your gun and notify the police. they MIGHT be understanding and lower it to the legal limit, but, if you get a jobs worth........it could get messy !!!! cheers mate sean Quote Link to post
slyfox-mal 1
no worries john the offer still stands mate if you get stuck that goes for anybody else in my area who needs a air rifle chrono checked im more than happy to do it for free all you have to do is contact me atb mal Quote Link to post
