I can recoommend Brian Betteridge to anyone in the Weat Mids area, I'm paying around 25p per lb for minced chicken, lamb, and beef, and 30odd pence for tripe. A tray of chicken thigh bones weighing around 40lb I would guess, with a lot of meat stilll on cost me 3 quid .

Add a shredded cabbage , a few carrots, or anything other veg I can scrounge off the missus and it's a cheap way to feed the dogs. The only other thing I give is a cheap tin of pilchards in sunflower oil occasionally, and a handful of mixer.

My two have improved 100% since starting using this stuff, the coat on my lurcher pup is really glossy.

Tom.

Don't give them the choice John. They'll eat kidneys etc if they know that's all on offer.

I had a fussy bull terrier once...he didn't stay too fussy for long.

I've only got a small freezer for the dogs so I can't buy big amounts, but yes, you're right about the prices they do seem to change.

All I can say if I've found him easy going and not expensive so I'm happy to go there, 20 or 30 pence per lb is a darn sight cheaper than tinned or decent dry dog food.
