Does anyone know of any breeders of working cairns out there?

I doubt if there are any left. I own a cairn but he aint no worker he shows some hunting instinct but I doubt if he could be an earth dog maybe some people use em for bushing obviously there are better terriers for the work the knack has probably been bred out by the KC just my opinion

What do you want it for? eg. bushing/ratting/earthwork,

I think you would be better off with something that is off a line of working stuff for what ever task you have in mind,

Was just curious thats all. Wondered if there were still some working lines in Scotland.

I saw two pups at a show cairn x patterdale, they looked realy keen short legged too. the man breeds them once a year

A local terrierman used to work a couple when I was a kid, but that was just over 20 years ago, haven't seen any since.
