stealthy1 3,964
Yo airgun people, had an evening on a pasture with around 50 young bulls running around in it, getting fat for the slaughter man Four legged beef burgers It's a bit of a trial to get into this field because of the bulls, as soon as they see you they run to you to see if your going to feed them Whilst I realise they are too young to be wild enough to gore you to death, it's still intimidating to see them run towards you, I always approach this field from a little pasture on one side of the barbed wire fence, that way you can see where the b****rd bulls are in the pasture. On arrival at this pasture I jump the dyke and hop over the barbed wire fence, so picture this, I'm straddled over this barbed wire pushing it down so I dont snag my nuts on it, when all of a sudden my right foot drops down nine inches into a rabbit hole thats given way and I'm stuck on the wire, you know the score, you cant see where its got you snagged, you pull it one way and it snags you on another spike, end result is a pair of light weights with no b****cks left in them, a trip to the army and navy stores some time this week Could have been worse if I had forgot to wear some jockies eh! So I got myself in position for a sniper fest, I had seen a few big rabbits hopping around when I passed this way last time, so felt it was a productive place to have a session, to cut a long story short, here I am whacking a bunnie, crawling on a bit, whacking another, and slowly making my way down the field, wasn't long before bunnie number six was bagged and tagged, it was only a short crawl to put me in contact with number 7, and then they saw me, not the rabbits, the f**king bulls, its quite a sight to see rabbits bolt for cover when 50 bulls playfully stampede across a field, and twice as impressive when your laid on the floor watching the rabbits scatter when you should be contemplating a bolt for cover your self, which I managed just in the nick of time, but this time I cleared the wire by about 18 inches, I had about a hour before it got dark, but decided to do one and head for home, so six in the bag with the promise of more next time the bulls are at the other end of the field Keep at them lads. stealthy. 1 Quote Link to post
