What date will your season be starting,And show us your line-up for the season. cheers

 

 

mine will start end of sep and finish end of jan be out sat and sunday every week i have 5 farms so will only go to them ones every 5 weeks will take only about 200 over the that time as to get the same next year i visit the farms most weeks to see how things are going up to now 3 are ok same as ever 1 some one is going with the lamp as i seen it ( fx pochers lol) the other one mixi has got hold and my dog has killed 30 up to now

got a 4 year old cocker beter than me at the job lol same ferrets 2 julls and one hob . got a new cocker i=bitch this year she is 1 year ols now but god she is hard work so got lots of time with her started to mark now been training her and as the ferrets come out she picks them up and fetches them to me

i cant wait to get back out.the summer seems to be dragging on a bit,lol.ive got a new dog who will be just about ready for the off by the time the season starts,ive also got a sandy ferret kit to get going .the dog and the ferret absolutley love each other to bits so im hoping they make good hunting companions with each other.ive had to retire my old lurcher off now at the ripe old age of 13.she might get a ride out now and again to do some marking up for us and to show the pup how to go on lol.atb for the coming season :thumbs:

Nice one lads Im hoping to get two jill kits soon old enough to be ready for the season ahead. have been ferreting before plenty times but never had ferrets of my own so really looking forward to it.

the only new thing to my team this coming season is a kitt that ive bred myself

polcat coulouras with a sand head and a white chest

 

and as for season i went yesterday on a couple of ground burrys and had 8

no milky rabbits either

We normaly try and start very late august and go through till we

start to bolt or see the 1st rabbit kitts of the new year (WEATHER PERMITTING OF COURSE)

We work 10 jills and 1 hob

And cant wait to get started again this year

1st of september for me, i have a collie x lurcher and a few ferrets for this season and can't wait to get going.
