I was wondering if I could use one of my rabbit breeding pens as a ferret court/run. Its one inch mesh and im wonderin if it would be ok for young ferrets or are the holes in the mesh too big. also its 4 foot x 6 foot x 2 foot high. Pictures below.

Hi Country, just had a look at your photos of the mesh and that'll be fine, i use similar in my court and not had any problems to date. Just one question though what are you gonna use as a base as ferrets will escape given half a chance. atb

the mesh will be fine ,just have a hard surface though not grass

Ya it will be on concrete and they will have a small hutch in it with bedding and a few pipes. is the 6 foot x 4 foot x 2 foot high size ok for two ferrets?

Mesh is same as i use, never had a problem. Put some flags down or conny. Oh and take the rabbits out, if not that could be fun. ;)

Flags, conny? whats this? also what about keeping it outdoors or inside in a shed?

Will I cover the top of it and keep it outside or should I keep it inside in a shed?
