The camera i used has a fixed lense they come right up to you , i wouldnt have got such close up if they had been out a far way as the camera only zooms 4 times , mind i need stuff under my nose to see it I like you pic as it is a nice overall photo

Kay 3,709
last one getting quite arty there kay..nice. They are so loved up i tried so hard to get then in different poses , the cobs a bit scarey & i just have to stop myself pushing my luck all in all there fantastic creatures & demand respect , brilliant to be able to get that little bit closer especially as they have young , but they do move on when they have had enough

Kay 3,709
Nice pics Kay, looks like your lesson on white balance has payed off, are you happy with the camera now? i could see the difference while i was taking the pics , but the natural light kept changing so i had to do a bit of fiddling after each shot which was a bit of a pain , i am getting the basic feel for this slr stuff though

Guest Scuba1
I am frustrated though , cant get what i want first time , impatient & all the rest of it Why do you think the pros don't go out of a photo session with just one picture???? They don't get it right first time either. Its not unusual to take 50 shots of one subject and then bin 49 of them. Its part of the game Kay. Well done for what you did though. I'll give you an example: A friend of mine who does under water films for a living came out to me for 2 weeks on the Canaries. We did 29 dives together each one of the dives was around one hour. I shut the dive centre so I could put all my time into his work as well for those 2 weeks. After all the editing and cutting, we ended up with 27 minutes of footage for 34 hours under water with two of us. Feel better now I spent years teaching under water photography and must have taken tens of thousands of photos during that time but I only consider about 400 of them as keepers.
