Geoff.C 0
Snakes, just a word of caution for when you screw on the air tank. The handbook tells you what to do with the bolt. I think it is about half cocked or in the magazine removing position or something. A chap at work bought a new S16 a short while ago, and because he did not read the instructions first, and just fitted the tank, he caused some seal to move and had a continual air leak round the mag. Had to go back to the manufacturers for rectification. Hopefully you have read the book and got no problems, but there does seem to be a trap you can fall in, if not. Quote Link to post

davyt63 1,845
here you go buddy http://www.airrifleshop.co.uk/Manuals/S16_manual_03.pdf hope this helps regards davy Quote Link to post
Geoff.C 0
Well snakes, I hope you have done no damage. Well done to davyt63 for the manual. The heading "getting started" tells about the bolt to mid position, but actually doesn't say the possible consequences of not doing it. It does not mean problems for definite, but the chance of O-ring damage or displacement is there, if you do it wrong too much. (The bloke at work caused his to leak, after the first fitting of the air tank!!!) Enjoy your new toy mate! Edited July 12, 2009 by Geoff.C Quote Link to post
