i'm justing starting out with a jack. this may sound stupid to but on pics i've seen of dogs working some have collars on others not . whats the score ?i'm thinking if hes goes underground with one on he could snag himself . true ?

there/s allways that chance off getting caught up, but what about locators when they go to ground ?

dont put your dog to ground without a locator collar on full stop, any thing else is irrelevent

If nothing else its a legal requirement, that's if your bothered about staying on the right side of the law.

 

Before you put anything to ground, please, for the dogs sake, be 100% sure you now what your doing.

ta for the help guys. question might sound stupid but if i dont ask i'm not gonna know . i just wanna do a bit of hunting with the dog.i'm gonna start on rats but i'm concerned that when i take him for a walk he'll take off after rabbits or go down a fox hole. hence locator question .dont know any experienced people round here. i'm in australia !!!!
