mjr88 50
Help me out chap...how old is this ammo stock??? CCI currently ONLY make a 40g .22lr LEAD HP Subsonic (not Copper coated) and it is only available in 100 boxes, not 50. Been that way since at least 2006!! Deker I bought a few boxes of this copper ammo about 2 years ago from my local gunshop when i picked up my new cz varmint. as you stated , i have only seen the LEAD coloured bullet over the last couple of years , so i can only assume that the bloke in the gunshop was selling off his old stock , John Quote Link to post

David Dey 2
It's eley's for me. Why do you want them to go faster? In my experience they are pretty close to the sound barrier speed so any faster and they aren't subs anymore. DunK Hi. Same here, Eley's are the only ones I use in my .22 Varmint. Too many flyers with CCI's and the cases are not suited to the CZ chamber, a few pals and I have tried them and we all have had problems extracting cases (fired and unfired). Jaggsy 25
I've settled on the RWS for now they are probably the slowest of the bunch but thats not really a factor what i need is consistancy, good penetration and accuracy and anything made in Germany is usually pretty good.
