They sit in the cafes with us having a good time without the grass the rest of would be smoking and laughing do they leave the room, no they know it aint for them and have a laugh anyway but for one person in our group that laugh turned into a serious addiction problem everybody is different but that one innocent time can cause a spiral downwards that nobody can predict life is never so easy and yes everybody is different thats why i believe people can change.i used to pick the druggies up in the taxi and have a bit chat with them and most of them said they take it because they are bored.if he comes off it good luck to the lad but they can sharpe go back on it to Quote Link to post Share on other sites

You can't have the stuff but if you do, you might as well pay some tax on the equipment Government isn't stupid, they know they can't stop the drug trade so they're making a few bob off it while they pretend to fight it. Just thought ild ask beacuse im intrested to know,,I used to smoke alot of weed a few years ago but that progressed into snorting cociane,, and getting more and more addicted to it and wasting silly money on it,, only a week or so ago ive decided to try and cut the habbit. I dont know what happened to myself but i was messing around with my life,,Has anyone been in a similar situation in thier lives and messed around with drugs? Good luck mate, like a few on here i`ve been in your situation, folk will always judge you when you open up like that. Year`s ago these deigner drugs like coke, speed and the doctors favorite Diet pills! were just not available or very expensive in the `s, but the 90`s changed all that it was the boom time in Britain and the " In Thing " for us, we didn`t have a clue what we were doing we were young, we were easily led. There are problems with drugs in every village, town and city in this country. Then there`s the good old pint.........its safe ain`t it.........after all there`s only a few thousand drink related deaths/illnesses every year, lets not treat them too eh!. It must be great to be perfect.....I had a 20 year old brother who took his own life because he couldn`t stop drinking, he`d had a great upbringing, from age 12 he wanted to be 18 so he could drink with his brothers, we all tried to help, we tried to get treament but there was a waiting list....he couldn`t wait. we payed our TAXES, my parents worked all their lives, we expected and deserved the same treatment as the " Normal " folk in this country, not everyone with a problem is a thief or scumbag, some people say why should i pay for their self inflicted problem...........it`s a social problem created by us all....i`m damn sure my great grandad didn`t fight in WW2 so some dickhead could tell him that because he`d been a smoker or had an addiction he ain`t allowed treatment!! As for the Antis usung " hunters " being druggies shite.... its those same tree hugging c**ts that started the whole drug culture in the first place. All the best in giving up Rod. Dont know how they started but they were about 'clubbing' age at that time the local dealers had a trick- tie you down & give you a hit, once you'd had that smoking it was a waste of time. From then it was a fast down ward spiral. Good kids, good families, wasted, one by one they have either o/d, ended up in wheelchairs cos there veins are done in, or moved on. Its crucifying for the families who still feel responsible & question what they've done wrong. Some have got clean. I started to look into doing counselling a few years ago then when I saw how many people I knew that had drug problems I couldnt do it. It shocked me & I dont think people realise just how big a problem it is, fair play to anyone though that can ask for help knowing that people may turn away & treat them different. scent 509 Posted July 13, 2009 Report Share Posted July 13, 2009 i was tending AA for quiet a while had to get my life bacdk in order.I was drinking my life away 7 days a week and was starting to loose control of everything i had.As for drugs been there done that 1000 times coke,seed,hash,acid ,muhrooms,perscription drugs,special k.All of this is well behind me now thank god and iv the dogs to thank mainly for this believe it or not ,i know it sounds corny but the only addiction i have now is dogs and hunting Quote Link to post Share on other sites
