Cheers, I'll have to look into them, I like ASE mods.

The HMR is damn good fun for shooting crows - like someone splitting a pillow in a fight. They can't hop the round either as its going that much faster. I tried most of the ammo brands and settled on federal but i guess it's whatever your dealer holds at the end of the day. The ASE Ultra is an improvement on the SAK although it is a little heavier. You can also strip them down although its a right pain in the arse to get the washers snugly back together again :wallbash:

I've put money down on a HMR barrel for my Sako Quad  Part exchange with my .22lr barrel, which I've had great fun with over the past couple of years (including stalking two foxes on it's first dead calm night and headshooting both). I figure since I'm only going to own one rimfire it should be a HMR because of it's extended range, makes more sense for the ground I shoot over.

One thing I definately won't miss are the ricochets :icon_eek:

Just need to nab a copper to start this licencing business (process is pretty much the opposite of the UK, deposit on rifle, note into cops and fill forms, wait an eternity, pay remainder and pick up new gun).

Pssshhtttt...thwap! Here I come :clapper:

wish i could shoot as good as you, you are amazing, TWO headshots....

DOES THIS COUNT.... as i was aiming for the LEFT eye not bad though at 265 yds
