I dare say you put it back, but the other weekend we had a big hunt lunch and dinner, 1 of the courses was catfish, bloody luvly it was. T78 4 Posted July 10, 2009 Author Report Share Posted July 10, 2009 cheers lads. yes,it did go back!and no,it didn't smell(any more than any other fish!lol) it gave a slow,deep,powerful fight quite different to carp. i caught it on hair rigged 22mm halibut pellet over a small bed of mixed pellets. there are 60 lb'ers in this lake appaerntly .would love to have one of those!
