John-B 4
I have shot rabbits in the past where I have hit it high and pierced it's ear for it, went and picked it up and that was the only damage, A hole in the ear, very wierd. Quote Link to post

stealthy1 3,964
It was probably in the middle of having a stroke when you shot at it, and being spanked on the head with lead finished it off Quote Link to post

Phantom 631
rodsmith said: no one likes going home empty handed mate. So very true, I remember when I was about 9 years old fishing off Prince Of Wales Pier in Falmouth Only caught a great big crab and it fell off as I brought it up from the sea I was very reluctant to go home empty handed especially as I had a wager with my old man that if I caught 'anything' he would take me wreck fishing on one of the boats out of the harbour. So I called in one of the fishmongers on the way home got 3 fresh (as in just off one of the boats) Mackrel and threaded some line through the Gill's slung em over my shoulder and walked home. He never did sus it and I aint gonna confess either Phantom Quote Link to post
