Out for a walk

Recommended Posts

Evening all , thought id let you know how our little walk went tonight . Took my daughter Jem and son Luke for a stroll over one of our permissions. :D As im the Daddy i had the first bunnie of the night , showing my kids how to stalk and shoot in style . :clapper:

From there on in it was my Son who showed that he had been listening to all i have taught him over the last few months. ;) His first rabbit was after a 40 yard crawl through young thistles and nettles , he had a lovley 25 yard shot and dropped the bunnie straight down. :clapper::clapper::clapper:

Next it was my turn and i missed an absolute sitter , much to my daughters amusment :icon_redface: Luke said it was his turn next , and with much grumbling about the sights needing checking i handed the gun back to him.

We walked the nrxt field and spotted some bunnies at the far corner ,again Luke crawled off as jem and i waited . Thwack , Thwack,Thwack the little sod shot three in a row before breaking cover to retrive them :clapper::clapper::clapper:

As he walked back i couldnt help feeling proud of him ,he had listened to my advice and it had paid off. Iwas a bit grumpy though  The little sod had shown me up good and proper , And he is lefthanded using a rh s410 !!!!!

Any way took the bunnies home , Jem and luke helped me gut and skin them , ready for a big stew at the weekend . :D

Has anyone ever curried rabbit ?? Just a thought . See you. ;);)
