RaiderBoy 19 Posted July 9, 2009 Report Share Posted July 9, 2009 bet they deserved it. there was a few people in my class who have come so close to the teacher flipping. were ever you read that it doesent explain the whole story the three boy were probably playing feck in the class room and he tried to carm them down so they assaulted him then he got the blame for trying to defend himself from them. ive seen this happen through my 5 years in a secondry school. mooshka 22 Posted July 9, 2009 Report Share Posted July 9, 2009 My sons Teacher shut my sons head in the door as he tried to walk out.. the same teacher marked his arm in a scuffle a few weeks later after grabbing him. We had talks with the school and the disciplinary procedure .... decided to keep it in school and not have an assault charge on the teacher. Although this is an extreme case in the news today and he deserves appropriate discipline and punishment.. kids must push the teachers to their limit and always one will crack..teachers have very little control over a class of 30 15 year olds..of which some are bigger than the teacher and can be quite threatening.. !! Blame the parents for their upbringing! Yes teachers have a sheite job trying to control them when they can't even lay a finger on them. But please lets not hang the guy or the kid(s) until we have all the facts. The only facts we have are ia that akid is seriously hurt by a 50yo. Without having to second guess what happened it is a sad show when a teacher cannot discipline students who exhibit unruly behaviour, which has a detrimental effect on the education of all in the class. When i was at school there were teachers who would throw wooden blackboard rubbers at students just for talking in class, with the ever present threat of the slipper and the cane for worser misdemeanours. Last year i was working for a client who's business was the manufacture of scientific machinery, one of the Scientists left to persue a career in teaching at the local Comprehensive school, 8 weeks later he had abandoned his on site teacher training and was back working with us again vowing never to return to teaching. Todays students are tomorrows decision makers, they deserve better than this, bring back school discipline. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
