spiderfly 111 Posted July 8, 2009 Report Share Posted July 8, 2009 a fella asked me what to do with his collie/deerhound/greyhound the dog wont run rabbits anymore all he whats is hares he is 15months but will he ever run rabbits again or is he just a hae dog or might he come from it he has`nt run a rabbit in the last 10 nights tryed in the time i said i hope you now were their is alot of hares lol...what will i tell him do...????? snoopdog 1,256 Posted July 8, 2009 Report Share Posted July 8, 2009 ive lost count the amount of times ive seen somthing in the distance not knowing wether its a hare or a rabbit .....just a movment or some ears move ....if my dog sees it it goes and so would most dogs.....if they didnt they arnt worth the kennel space.... and so it must be a clever dog to tell the difference every time.......... .... and it being so young to......fook me it should still be chasing swifts at that age..... spiderfly 111 Posted July 8, 2009 Author Report Share Posted July 8, 2009 lads if i`m honest here i go out with this dog and my friend ever night he has been out and he given him the easy rabbits never long slip and nearly always squaters he catch 99% of ever rabbits he was slipped on then he killed a few hares and he never went back...if anything he catch too many easy ones..i dont now Quote Link to post
