Pops 19
the bite power is all hype. i've been tagged by 4 sheperds, a couple of bulldogs & several curs & hounds. the sheperds were the hardest bites by a huge margin. the difference is after the bite. the sheperds can't keep the hold long nor shake you very hard. the bulldogs short thick neck, heavy shoulders & broad chest allow him to throw you around a lot harder which is where the real damage comes in. also the hseperds quit easier than a bulldog. the sheperds broke down & tried to run once i laid into them. one bulldog was an accident and stopped himself after a slap on the nose. the other was flipping out from a brain tumor and didn't quit until i choked him out. the curs & hounds ranged from less heart than the sheperds to bulldog tough. doga 50
ive run for big hard biting shepards but found bulldogs to bite a lot harder thats exsperience not hipe, ive also found that the bull dog takes punishment easier then sheperds,im not biassed to sheperds my family have kept good quality working dogs, the proof is in the pudding for me. brummy-bull-man 1
doga saw the dog in the flesh a real beauty .....POPS its guaranteed fact that an american bulldog is the hardest biting dog apart from an hyena come and jump my fence and see if you think a shepard has a harder bite then my dogs .. ive had experience with breeds especially bull breed's and there jaw power is unmatched in any dog (rotweiller bites hard on first impact too) 1 Quote Link to post

Kye 77
First off, Hyenas aint even dogs!...lol...secondly, if you go on YouTube, and type in 'Dog attack styles' you will see some comparisons...the Mastiff has the strongest on that test at over 500lbs+ pressure... IMO, PitBulls dont have that much bite pressure, but then again, they where not bred to have super strong bites,...im not saying they DONT bite hard, obviously they DO!...lol...but that is not the first criteria in the breeding of such animals.. Kye.. Quote Link to post
