Thanks for all the replies folks, obviously a good way to keep the dogs fit at the time  I've managed to sort a bike out for the daughter which she'll have on her birthday in a couple of weeks, it's a second hand "Kona Four Lisa" and I hope to collect it today or at least when Alf isn't about :whistling:

Thanks once again :drink:

Used to do the Newnham 90 and the Stinger a few years back but now it's just a summer way of helping keep the dogs fit on the old Marin East Peak. Cheers, D.

Very nice.

Many moons ago I witnessed the reults of cheap bikes that just fold up on impact and tend to become "one" with the rider so sod that

Been offered a Scott Ransom 30 and a Orange 224 Evo, both at very reasonable prices now that folk know I'm getting back in the saddle  , met some great folk in the sport in the past and I will always remember a 10 mile road TT, about a mile from the line and going what I thought was hell for leather :boogie: when I was overtaken by another competitor who just happened to be 66 :icon_eek: I was in my 40's and I can still here him laughing

Nice is there "lock out" on the suspension when you do the tarmac stuff? I'm not sure about that as I only have a "hard tail"
