Well thats what i thought but i just wanted to see what everyone else had to say about them. Because there are alot of rabbits in my area but they are in places where they cannot be ferreted so i thought an air rifle could do the job without so much hassle.

have a read up and ONLY you can decide which will suit you best

to put it simply:

.177 flys faster and flatter than .22

.22 flys slower and has more arc to its trajectory, but, is harder hitting.

cheers

lol oo yes much harder lol..at 12fp it isnt enough to warent the fraise..but..... as the sticky post implies, its the caliber you 'take too' for wat ever reasons... you gotta shoot with it, so no point if you dont like to it or cant get on with it, try a couple at a club, preferably on a full range so you get a feel for the tragectry... you'll get used to what ever you use, be it a brick a bow an airgun or a howitzer... makes no odds, in the head it's dead.

wat ever ticks ya boo...
