Im thinking about buying a lurcher to use for rabbiting. mainly ferreting but also a bit lamping. I've been thinking about a bedlinton xwippet or a bedlinton x greyhound. also i wondered if its a good idea to get something with a bit of collie in for the ease of training it to sit or stay and watch over the rabbit waren. Has anyone got good ferreting dogs or know a good breed what would turn out to be good at that type of thing. Thanks for reading.

Got full bedi for my Ferritin dog and whippet x bull for lampin and mooch in the day when old enough crackin dogs atb rich

 

iv got a bedlinton dog but its numb once it gets his nose to the floor its off on the scent. just give it to my mam for a house dog. the sire and dam were good workers f**k noes what happened to him lol

are those hancock lurchers any good they are collie crosses but dont know anybody whos had one

a mate of mine has bred a litter of pups that will suite you to a tee, bedlington x wippets and a bit of collie in them,

the mother and father are both good on the lamp and at ferreting, they are both owned by him

my first lurcher was a bedlington whippet it was the best ferreting dog ive owned and it was a good little lamping dog aswell

if its just rabbits you are going for mate get ya self a beddiexgreyhound or beddiexwhippet they wont let you down mate
