Well for a few who have been asking heres the final result of my build....

 

really chuffed with it so far and today printed .261" with one flyer dur to me not cleaning the oil outta the barrel as when i saw a break in the weather i bolted....

 

it's in .243 win border 24.5 inch archer barrel,

 

trigger stoned and polished, breaking crisp at 1 3/4 lbs.

 

bedded into a mc millian A5 tactical

 

she also has an invisalbe thread cap for the A-TEC that she wears...

 

1 in 9 twist........

 

I take it you chose the relatively fast twist rate to stabilise longer/heavier HPBTs for deer. I make the RPM at the muzzle over 500.000. It would be interesting to know how it handles shorter/lighter fragmenting rounds. Beautiful piece of kit any which way!

i,ve shot a five shot group into .261" centre to centre so i'd gladly call it a shooter.
