Jon that is an impressive haul mate and i am certain most on here would be well impressed.ps how many of them were wounded as you know it is easier to wound than it is to miss. PS CAN YOU TELL ME YOUR LOCATION ETC I NEED A MAP REFERANCE NUMBER SO I CAN POST IT TO THE DI/DCS :whistling: You have to many deer.

we have had one deer a bronze medal wounded at almost dark only time he used to come out of a reed bed.(gut shot)

back next morning with the dogs.

could,nt find him.

anyways found him 4 days later by smell we had over looked him in the reed beds as he was partly submersed.

perhaps 3 more gut shot all recovered think thats it.

luckily the bad shots were clean misses.

and also unless they are very close and i know the clients form we only shoot boiler hse on broadside roe and only at 120m max.(im sure this has helped)

Yes it has mate i have had a few guests out this season and had one or two bad shots the call was theirs but from now on it will be mine no mater how good they tell me they are. ;)

It must be frustrating doing most of the hard work in getting the client into the position to take a shot only for them to make a bad job of it. I guess if you shoot enough deer its going to happen some of the time - accidents happen.
