allenyeates 3
Just got back into lurchers after 10 years. What do people reckon is the best lamp on market for lamping rabbits. Medium to large fields around here. Any advice on make/candle power and power pack most welcome. Been looking at Blazer light... any good? Cheers Allen Quote Link to post

chartpolski 23,928
I've got a Clulite 2 mcp and a Blitz 240; the clulite will light up the whole feild, I've tryed everything to narrow the beam, but can't get a decent spot. The Blitz has a great spot. The difference is; do you want a lamp you can put in your pocket, or a dustbin lid hanging round your neck ?!! Horses for courses comes to mind ! Cheers. nicksringo 5
i would go for the striker 170. have had them all but this seems to be the best on the market, not he cheapest but does work well Quote Link to post
carp king 155
i use a lightforce striker 170, and sometimes the blitz once we've actually started coursing our quarry, but i wouldnt advise using a blitz for spotting. Quote Link to post
Paid 935
another vote for the striker also have a blitz and a lance, but the strikers best for all round. Hate cluelights, used all of them and they suck. Quote Link to post
Guest gaz100604
170 for rabbits have had long ears run out of beam on several occasions thou, will invest in 240 before the season starts Quote Link to post
