Rocky2 14
i was out the other day with a friend who wanted to get rid of some foxes over in ireland here and we bolted a young one but my dog just ran after it looking at, could of caught it easily, i think he was sort of puzled coz he never seen one before, he just kept noseing it and it ended up geting away, i was gutted. so he will have to be entered again with an experienced dog, every dog is different i supose. if i was you i'd let him in with another dog. atb Quote Link to post
nottzhunter08 898
i have said it before and i will say it again, notts hunter, your dog looks axactly like my mates bull x, which hasnt had a problem with taking anything, my only advice is, leave him a little longer maybe, then let him have a slip at an average fox, not a huge one, at around a year old, he may be ready now, but better safe than sorry. gd luck with your hound wbk he does look like theres bull in him but there isnt. tbh i feel he is ready but will probably let him have a go with another dog. atb N.H Edited July 9, 2009 by nottzhunter08 Quote Link to post
