Wild_and_Irish 11
From what I do in Geography England has much more arable farming and bigger wide open fields (flat 10-30 acres), and because of the arable farming I'd imagine they'd have more rabbits and hare Quote Link to post

toshaugh 2
Even area's in ireland are different, a bloke from the midlands(Longford i think, not sure) came over to get a trial of a dog my da was selling and said the land around Wicklow was to hilly to lamp and dogs would have to be exceptional to succeed and the fields were too small, i dont know as i've never worked my dogs outside Wicklow, suppose you have to put up with the terain available to you. Leeview 791
The Cork County Open lads pre-ban used to visit our club in Yorkshire to run against us interclub, we were out one day we had three drives into one field one of the Cork lads asked the landowner how big the field was? the landowner thought and answered 78acres, the Cork lad said "feck me that would be a farm back home" Y.I.S Leeview Quote Link to post
