hotel2zero 0
like to hear your views on which is best in 17hmr same difference. the HMR round burns out with-in 16'' so its personal prefference, weight and if your shooting from a motor, the 16'' will be easier to handle. price wise, when i looked just after christmas, the 16'' was about £65 more than a 20''. the 20'' will group tighter, but i'm talking 0.9mm at 100yds - so you'll never really tell. A great round and the CZ's are great cheap rifles. Hotel2zero Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
like to hear your views on which is best in 17hmr No answer, it's a bit like saying which is best, a Ferrari or a Roller...they are both excellent but different, the full barrel will give you the edge in accuracy, but for most it isn't worth talking about, the 16 costs more but has the manageable edge. My CZ HMR Silhouette has the full length barrel, my Silhouette .22 lr the middle barrel and my CZ American .22WMR a 16 inch barrel. They all work for me!! Quote Link to post
langouroux 14
barrel length makes all the difference if you are planning on shooting / lamping from a vehicle! defo go for the 16" in my opinion Quote Link to post
