beagle1812 0
Hi All, Does anyone know how to get an airlock out of the water pipes? I have just replaced the water tank in the loft but now have an airlock somewhere, I’ve seen the technique of putting a hose pipe between the two taps, but in my house the hot and cold go in to one single tap so the hose thing isn’t an option! Any serious advice would be appreciated. Thanks
mad al 146
We've got vents in the pipes in the loft space that I can just open and release/bleed the system. Have you any in yours?

breffni 3
Well lad.this will help with your hot. Go to your kitchen sink tap. Turn on your hot. Put your hand over the spout, where the water should be coming out. Then turn on the cold. Its a monoblock tap you have,so the pressure of the mains water should be enough to push the the air lock back up the hot. If you get what i mean.

One of these , yours will have the thread on the outside and not inside Edited July 5, 2009 by mad al
youth 0
if your washmachine is hot and cold fed , join both taps together with one hose and give it a short blast
