Im guity of posting pics that could be used against both myself and the hunting fraternity,ive done nothing illegal but i dare say some of my pics havebeen taken off here and have been or will be used against me or hunters in general. So i'll just say this,i will never give up hunting,never. And if these fools think they can win by teling lies and deceit about hunting in any form then they are deluding themseves. Anyone who wants to stay in touch with me can pm me for my mobile number,i will be leaving the huntinglife site for good,not because they have pissed me off (the antis) but simply because i have no faith in the general public seeing our side of the story in a balanced way. Ive made a lot of great mates on here so i hope we can stay in touch by meeting up at the shows and suchlike,i will close my account on here next week. Ive got into a new way of thinking,life is for living bah blah blah :11: Ian you are right they have no understanding of country life its ways or its people,and to be honest i didnt know that much when i first came on this and other sites,i still dont if truth be known ,fact of the matter is i have no time for these people,having said that they dont bother me in the slightest. What does bother me is the fact that like minded people cant post their comments/pics without having things twisted,and the fact that the general public are so gulible that they actually believe the extremist antis???? This is not a knee jerk reaction to this post,this is something ive thought about for a while,things have changed in my life recently, i could be moving down to yorkshire/lincolnshire withina year or so,failing that,i might just sell up and travel the country for a while?? Who knows??? At the moment im working my arse off to pay off debts from my business and personal life. Trivial things such as antis dont realy come into myeveryday thoughts lol. Mebbes i shouldnt of said 'im leaving for good' cos i know at some point i'll probably come back,just there seems to be so much more important things to do in life at the moment?? The dogs will still be worked as much as i can work them,and im hoping that im gonna have a ot more time to get out with them now things have changed for me. Blokes in the pup/club looked foward to buying a rabbit, hare, pheasant, bit of venison, whatever, on a saturday or sunday 'cause they knew it was cheap and fresh. Fast forward 40 years and we now are basically pariahs. The cagoul wearing, backpack carrying anti's will. if they are brave enough, verbally abuse you, or 'phone the police or RSPCA, if they think you are up to something. I have been ferretting on permission when approachrd by one of these ignorant assholes and, in all honesty, found it easier to up nets and leave, than to have to explain to the police that what I was doing was perfectly legal, (farmers are nortorously consrverative and want to avoid controvosey). It's a sad situation when police will respond far quicker to a complaint about ferretting than they will to burglary, but that is the facts. We now have to be extremly carefull about what we say or do, in public or on sites like this, but nontheless, we must carry on doing what we are legally entittled to do. Cheers. They are a highly efficient means of controlling vermin. LACS have posted a news bulletin about illegal snaring and targeted this site with there usual slander and lies, basically trying to brainwash people into thinking we all thrive on killing animals and torture them....what a load of shite. Press and police were informed, is snaring now illegal? If they're going to lie about snaring in the press and print copyrighted images as part of their agenda then there is no depth they won't stoop to. This forum can only function through it's members. It's up to you to help police it and keep it running in a way that it'll be still here for years to come. I really like The Hunting Life. My kids read through it and I've met alot of people and made many good friends from here. It would be a shame if all that were to end because of a shitty gutter press article that is a blatant mistruth. If you see any content posted on this forum that you believe is questionable and makes us look like a bunch of knuckle dragging fuckwits then hit the REPORT button. Believe me you're not wasting anyone's time and you'll be helping to save your forum from the balaclava wearing, faceless, menace. Better still don't post shit in the first place.
