Filthy b*****d Fishermen

Recommended Posts

I don't fish but I have been volunteering for the National Trust as part of a countryside course at college.

Well they have a stretch of the Thames where they maintain the swims and charge people to fish there at day rate.

Yesterday I decided to collect litter and on and around the swims were littered with empty beer cans, disposible BBQ's, wrappers of all descriptions.

One particularly filthy wart on the backside of humanity had left a shit there.

I really can't get my head around how someone would want to spend some time with nature then leave it like a slum, they must have no respect for themselves or there surroundings.

Is this a common problem with fishermen?

I always bury mine. Don't like the Idea of someones dog eating it.

Never mind the thought of the dog eating It. What about when said dog runs back to mummy and gives them big kisses  :icon_eek:

ive seen that happen, very funny especially when you are miles away from anywere you can wash your face :clapper:

I think youll find it more prevelent on Rivers than ponds because they are less likely to be approached and asked to tidy up before they leave...if i go to a perticular swim and its a shit tip full of beer cans (how the f**k can you fish half cut  ) ect i always tidy up before i fish ..why ..because i dont like the idea of someone coming and blaming me for the actions of a lazy arshole who couldnt be botherd to tidy up...anyway surly its the right thing to do ...isnt it .

I have a shit before I go.

I'm an adult, I can control my bowels....usually :icon_eek:

You can't control the shit that you write though.

Anyone with a bowel disorder shouldn't go fishing then, I have a friend with crohns, that goes fishing, can make it quite difficult for him sometimes.

I thought we were talking about fisherman shitting?? You say if you were miles away from anywhere, you couldnt wash your face, but if it was angler that had layed down the banker, you would be near to water, so you would be able to have a wash!!

Plus if you were miles away from anywhere, it wouldnt be an anglers turd as they carry lots of gear and wouldnt be able to walk that far!!

Control your bowels, so tell me, when i go bivvying up for 4 days, what do i do, curl a brown one for the next five days, i am sorry buts thats a load of bull.. You cant beat waking up to the alram at 4.30am, getting out of your bivvy, walk to your toilet hole and let one go while watching the sunrise....

This post is a load of bollocks, course some irresponsible anglers leave rubbish, like irresponsible dog owners that have dogs that attack sheep! its the minority, we all know this... its called life...

If you've got to go, you've got to go, but FFS do it somewhere where it's not going to stand out like an evil chocolate Mr Whippy....
