Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Went down to Martins and then on to a piece of ground he has .Fair bit of land here but we only managed to bump a doe befoe the light started fading .We decided on a sit down to see if anything made use of the last rays of sun so we headed for the far boundary .I saw a deer coloured shape through a gap in the far hedge but no i-d as it really was a fleeting glimpse .Martin put me in this area while he went through to another freshly cut field to sit up as well .Once in position ,i had a squeak and almost instantly a buck jumped through the hedge to my right and stood broadside offering an easy shot at maybe 90yds own he went but it wasnt till i got up to him that i realised what a good body weight he was .A tall set of six points but no medal class . Once again i have Martin to thank for a cracking session out .Cheers bud . Quote Link to post
