Simoman 110
If i trusted someone they could borrow my dogs, they wouldn't want to though A good mate has lent me a bull cross at the moment, I'll treat it better than my own..............
poacher3161 1,766
Its not a good idea to let other people aside from family members walk your dogs as we all know accidents can happen my wife used to walk the springers [bANNED TEXT] i was busy working but [bANNED TEXT] one brought a dead pigeon back to her dripping in maggots she didnt take them again. mushroom 13,199
don't mind people walking them as long as commands are consistent and they aint nobs as for hunting nah chance
wink hound 0
a kennel huntsman can look after, feed and walk out another mans hounds 365 days of the year, but as soon as the huntsman turns up and shows them sport there is a bond beyond any other and the kennelhuntsman may as well not exsist. this does cancel out most of the clowns on here whos dogs are mainly pets but for those who work their dogs properly, there should never be a problem.... anyone could run my dogs, but their loyal to the end when in the feild. stealthy1 3,964
If the people walking my dogs were competent, then why not, only on the lead, not to hunt, could'nt think of much worse than leaving your dogs with some one only to return home to find them damaged. stevolad 26
I let my mate who I do most of my dog work with look after and walk my bitch while I am working away, If something happened to any of his dogs I would be more than happy for him to take my dogs as he is of the same mind set as me and has a sensible head on his shoulders and shares the same standards and morals as me. I trust him 100%, I don't think the bond will be any less with me, she knows who the gaffer is. Edited July 3, 2009 by stevolad
