Matt2085 0
Hi, I'm going to start looking for some permission pretty soon and the one thing that seems to pop up as I read around on here is "get some insurance". Where would I get insurance from? Is it expensive (I'm pretty strapped) and would it *really* be worth it? Probably stupid questions, but I follow "the only stupid question is the question you don't ask!" philosophy. Thanks, Matt Quote Link to post

Phantom 631
Hi Matt, Yes Insurance is a very, very good idea. I am looking to get it from BASA (as I think its the cheapest) Did you get a rifle? or try them for size at Dunc's & Oleman Hutch? What do you think of them? Phantom Just Looked at the SAC's insurance and membership, that looks very good to me, think I'll be contacting them very shortly Edited July 3, 2009 by Phantom Quote Link to post

Matt2085 0
Did you get a rifle? or try them for size at Dunc's & Oleman Hutch? What do you think of them? Walked into Hutch's then walked out less than 5minutes later, really didn't like the look of the rifles in there, they looked so cheap and tacky that I wouldn't have felt right buying and using it. Also the man at the desk didn't seem to be able to tell me anything about Air Rifles.. figured that Duncan's may cost more, but he atleast stood with me and talked me through a lot. Also even after telling him my budget he reccomended a Edgar Brothers Mod 60 which was quite a bit below what I could have spent, which left me more to buy extras like a slip and pellets. I'm happy with my purchase and glad I didn't buy from Hutch's.. seemed very shoddy to me. And thank you everyone for the replies on Insurance, I think I will give SAC's a call. Thanks, Matt Quote Link to post
