my finished set-up

i've just got back from Cornwall and my mounts had arrived so i put the scope on and these are the results.

 

 

 

i know its not the flashiest or expensive set-up but it cost me a s**t load of money so i'm happy with what i have.

 

its a remington 700 sps dm in .243Win witha bushnell elite 4200 6-24x50, predator 8 and deben swivel bipod.

 

I LIKE IT. however i'm now definitely broke.

I have the same setup, different scope but rifle and mod are the same. You will love shooting that rifle

 

 

The only thing I would do is have the trigger took down a tad, the standard Remington factory triggers are set at about 5lb, you can take them down very low but I would only recommend taking to about 2lb.

Hi very nice but if you have some money or need to save look into a jewell trigger trust me amazine & an HS-stock & then look into some years down the line to better the scope to a S&B/swarovski/zeiss or some thing.

hi mate, adding up everything including the screw-cut it has set me back exactly £1515 which has bust my balls a tad but it should be worth it. that doesnt include the £550 i spent on reloading equipment so my wallet's hurting a bit

i got the scope for £500 but i'm sure you could get a better deal if you looked reeaaaaaally hard. optically it looks pretty good and i couldn't afford to spend more.

thats exactly the plan but definitely not anytime soon. i need money for the summer.
