rats at teeside park

did any of the northeast lads see in today echo about the rat infestation at teeside park . people had reported seeing up to 40 rats running around the bin stores and car park .me and a mate had a look about 7.30 tonight seen about 5 baby rats they all ran in to thick cover and with no holes to smoke them out they would take some catching with dogs

Only thing about joe public seeing rats is,if they see four or five young ones running about their eyes see about fourty or fifty,when it comes to rats most people who dont hunt them seem to exagerate.

didnt see it mate - forget the smoker in thick cover. let the dogs have a scent about once they mark get the buggers dug out

no chance of digging them out either. i just called up there on the off chance of getting a couple of longtails for my pup ? looks like they will be left to the council pest control and i will have to wait till the cover dies down at the backend of the year

plenty food for them no wonder they there did you run the terriers through the cover on the borders if cover thick you wont be able to see holes but they will be there

yeah the terriers were marking holes but we couldnt see um

Have you tried along the small riverbank up the top end of the park ?

theres only one type ov hole a long there mucker and it,s not a few rats in there ?

no is there any rats there looks promising though. i think there is alot of charlies over the back of there

Not sure mate but it looks a place that could hold rats and i'm sure you'd get no bother

i will take all my dogs and have a good look around and see whats about .cheers glen.
