Big bald beautiful 1,231
fenman stock was a fancy african wood until they ran out and it was chanced. great guns to look at but the worse trigger on a £400 gun ive ever seen Quote Link to post
John-B 4
OK, here is a picture of the gun so far, I wasn't too keen on the colour of the stock (quite light) so i sanded it down, removed all lumps and bumps and went for the darkest walnut stain i could find and applied 4 coats, also I am in the process of re-bluing it but it's taking a little longer than I expected, so.............. Can anyone tell me exactly what it is and what it's worth including the SMK 3-9x40 scope??? Edited July 2, 2009 by John-B Quote Link to post
SEAN3513 7
i would say the gun is worth around 300-350 and the gun and scope together are worth 300-350........lol a nice gun like that deserves a better scope than that one .....imo that said.....it will do your job Quote Link to post

Big bald beautiful 1,231
the fenman was £403 brand new, so if you get £300 snatch the guys hand off Quote Link to post
John-B 4
Cheers fellas I paid 90 quid for it, I'm after the same scope that I had on my old rapid 7 the simmons whitetail classic 3.5-10x50 Also with the barrel being so short does anyone know if a sling and swivels will fit on ok??? I'm a bit concerned about the swivel on the barrel catching on the stock. Quote Link to post
John-B 4
Fenman it is then thanks for clarifying that Quote Link to post
