Did anybody see the ferreting part? The guy on there (didn't catch his name) was showing how he teaches his young kits not to bite by either flicking or pinching their nose. Does anybody else do this? have read of a few people saying don't do it as it makes them worse, Whats your views.

i seen it the kits were only 8 weeks old and when he ruffed them up thay probably playing ,iv had a few ferrets over the years and somtimes it makes trhem worse, if you handle them enough and thay trust you thay wont bite you i had to split to hobs up from fighting once i never got bit i was told by a old man the best way to make a ferret leave go is relax and stroke it from head to tail

did they show the whole program - they only showed the first 15mins as a filler when i settled down to watch it then put some toss on about a train journey in the states that had feck all to do with the countryside

That sounds about right i settled down one night to watch it and it only lasted about 15 mins

what would you do if someone flicked you on the nose. there was a fella up here used to hit his dog across the face with the ferret to break them to each other mabye he will get a part on that show.

how did that one end up dead ferret think of the size of ther nose flicking it must do some sort of damage .
