waidmann 105
i'm not sure of the law here but in germany you may shoot cats that are causing problems( hunting) 200m plus from a dwelling. my point being that a cat caught in a live trap cannot hunt and therfore must be taken to a cat rescue!!!! this is one of the questions often asked by police investigating such cases, and so it is best to know the score. is there such a ruling in england??( not had any problems with cats or i would have looked into it!!) atb Quote Link to post
bert69 5
.243 for cats, collar or no collar, they are vermin regardless of whether they sleep in a house or a tree. they have a hell of a lot to answer for with regard british songbirds especially in suburban areas. grain soft nose will sort it out then chuck it on the lane and run it over a couple of times. bagzi 0
I've had a lot of cats in the past, all went readily into a cage trap with a small tin of cat food. you'll also catch Hedgehogs and mink if there are any around. Quote Link to post
marky r 25
sorry to say i have to agree with bert trhey are vermin if there hunting gamebirds or song birds collar or no collar they will be dealt with what would happen if your dog was running lose killing peoples pet cats youd have to answer to the law so they should keep there cats undercontrol.
