mally 832
I'm sure Mally won't mind me putting up a pic of his bitch, Vixen; the best working K.C. Whippet I've seen, in more than 40 years of working running dogs; Mally will give you the breeding, but I'm sure she is line bred Sooty Sam on her dams side. I saw her start on the lamp, and become a class worker. She works with ferrets and I have also seen her on bigger stuff, albeit accidently !! Cheers. You must be mistaken CP rumour has it she's just a show bitch!!!! i'm told i go out and shoot the rabbits then put them in front of her to take a photo!!!!. There has been a load of bollocks said about Vixen in the past year, she's only good for ferreting, she's only a show dog etc etc. Last winter i was organising a lamping competition for just kc whippets, as alot of people claimed they lamped there dogs and they were good workers etc etc.I thought it would be a good opertunity for us to get together and enjoy a few nights lamping on MY PERMISSION. The competition was open to just 8 dogs. I had 3 enter so it was cancelled. The lads that did enter will have a couple of nights lamping with me in the coming season. I have been involved in running dogs for 25 years and she is the real deal, she's as good as any dog i've had at rabbiting both lamping and ferreting, I don't consider her a net guarder like alot of whippets are, she works with longnets and i bolt rabbits just for her. She's never kept on a slip whilst ferreting. I'm hoping to breed from Vixen in the spring after her second season in the field. Pups will be available to very good working homes only. I do have quite a few orders but pups will be placed in the most suitable homes available. Not first come first served. I think alot of Vixen and her pups arn't going to just anyone they will be going to people who want a good working bred whippet who will work it. If anyone is interested in a pup get in touch, i'm still looking for a stud dog. The dog i choose will be one that will improve my line. I'll be keeping at least one pup so obvousley i won't be breeding from the nearest KC whippet on offer. Sorry if i come across as arrogant, it's just alot of crap is being said about Vixen. What really makes me laugh is if i ever make a post on working i post photo's of her actually working!!!!. A few photo's of my show whippet!!! The roe was tracked after being shot Edited July 1, 2009 by mally Quote Link to post

Sully 3
As Ive said to Paul aka Mally, I deffo want one of his next Pups, which will hopefully enable me to fully train my recently aquired Hancock, a thoroughly decent chap who obviously knows what he's talking about, premature as usual but Im looking forward to it already, I agree Vixen looks in 100% condition Craig Quote Link to post
