ratting in somerset

hi my names matt im 32 and from taunton somerset i have been really intrested in fieldports particularly lurchers and terrriers for years ever since i read plummers book tales of a rat hunting man.the unfortunate thing that my parents were very anti bloodsport when i was growing up so when i asked for a lurcher terrier or ferret the answer was no i tell a lie they bought me a ferret aged 11 but it was returned to the breeeder the next day as it had given my mum a playful nip .i have since gone on to have my own ferret and airgun after leaving home .unfortunately i have never met any one who can give me an introduction to the type of hunting i want to do terrier and lurchers ,I know theres a lot of idiots dog thieves and general fools out there im not one of them and would appreciate in being allowed to come along ratting with abyone in my area you would be more than welcome to come to my house for a cup of tea and a chat first i treat people as i like to be treated and would be respectful of peoples permission and dogs my no is 07914504605 basically i would like some friends who are into the same things as me dogs hunting and the countryside any help appreciated and if i could come ratting i would pay half petrol money and buy first pint.good hunting matt32
