Branch 0
If you mean the small steel ones then any ex army store will have one. If it’s light digging (sand or top of a hedge) there fine but that’s about it really. If you struggle to get hold of one PM me and I can get one for you no problem. Quote Link to post

Guest wickidweasel
Nowt wrong with that Frank if your happy to dig with it you would be suprised at what people prefer to dig with some will say you cant dig with a square spade or a timber handle will snap or whatever but if it works for you stick with it no point struggling to dig with a tool your uncomfortable with Quote Link to post
Guest Frank
Thanks. I havent actually used that spade thats in the photo for deep digging and am worried about the wooden handle snaping. I might get one of them on e,bay as well, but i dont want to be unhappy with it and waist my dosh. I have dug a good bit with the spade in the photo, i suppose, if you know its limits and dont push it too bar, it should be fine. One thing it lacks, is removing the soil you have dug, i have a shovel for that, but dont fancy carrying the 2 in the feild. Frank. I might of just found the thing im looking for, here is the link: http://www.field-sports.co.uk/ Click on ferreting eqpt and accasorries. What do you all think? Would this do the job? Bit pricey though , and the postage to here would not be too cheap ither. Frank. Quote Link to post
