billbroon 9
is the scorpion good gun for hunting e.g clean kills at good distance. Happy bday aswel !! Quote Link to post
SEAN3513 7
any full power air rifle is suitable for hunting max distance would be 35 yards for .22 and 45 yards for .177 the clean kill is down to the man behind the gun.........and decent pellets ( domed as they are more consistent) practice, practice, practice.............before you start hunting !!!!!!!! cheers sean Quote Link to post
spike25blue 55
hi there cheers bud yeh the scorpion is very accurate and good clean kills but that is partly dowm to the person pulling the trigger as i said the gun is deadly accurate as long as you have the abiity ranges again vary from shooter to shooter i regulary take shots at 50 yards but that is me being confiident with my rifle and knowing i can make the shot if had the choice to make again i wud definately go with the T10 atb rob Quote Link to post

billbroon 9
Well woke up for work this morning, was sick 4 times and had bad stomach cramps so didnt go. At 9:30 phoned gun shop and went to have a look took £800 with me just incase a fancied the scorpion. BOUGHT IT. Didnt make me feel better parting with cash but happy with what a got. Got the BSA scorpion t10, hand pump, silencer, hawk 3-9x50 mill dot scope and sling !! So when a got home assembled everything, firsttime with pcp so was suprised how easy it was to pump up to 200bar as recommened. Went up woods to set sights never had targets so took an inch thick phone book which i thought would catch pellets at 35yrds went straight through with ease. A fired bout 50 pellets and was getting the pellets ( bisley magnums ) in about a 2 inch circle at that distance standing so that will do for now till i get a harris bi pod. Overall glad i was of work cause very happy with gun, going out tonight to try bag first bunny before dark. THANKS Edited July 2, 2009 by billbroon Quote Link to post
